Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa is located just off of Taha’a, which is a 40-minute boat transfer from Raiatea airport. We love its barefoot, traditional style, and the use of wood and plant materials gives it a natural and rustic feel. The hotel’s coral reef is a definite highlight, as is their ‘catch of the day’ concept on Fridays when the local fisherman display their catches from that morning, and guests can purchase them at market price for the hotel chef to prepare accordingly.
