Alfajiri Villas

Located an hour south of Mombasa on Kenya’s Diani Beach, Alfajiri Villas are regarded as the finest villas on the east African coast. Consisting of three villas each hired on an exclusive basis, guests are assured of total privacy and magnificent Indian Ocean views.

Choose between the Cliff, Garden or Beach Villa, each with four bedrooms accommodating up to eight or ten people. Inside, handmade furniture and décor inspired by Indian, Moroccan and African cultures create an opulent feel. Outside, each villa has a generously sized pool, tropical gardens and a sun deck.

Alfajiri is renowned for its service, with each villa looked after by a private butler and team of staff. Menus are adapted to suit guests’ requirements, using seafood complemented by Mediterranean produce, and fine wines.

Activities at Alfajiri Villas include snorkelling and diving, golfing, visits to local villages and community projects, and excursions to Kisite Marine Park or Shimba Hills.

Location & Getting There

Alfajiri Villas is located in Diani Beach, South Coast; it takes around 90 minutes from Mombasa Airport to get to Alfajiri.

Accommodation

Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in four bedrooms. The Cliff Villa would not be suitable for four couples, but ideal for families. The turret suite has 270-degree view of the sea. There are two double rooms on the first floor with a private veranda and one twin room on the ground floor. The villas are spacious, stylish and secluded, giving the feel of a personal sanctuary. High Makuti roofs, wooden beams, flowing fabrics and carved lamu doors are a nod to the local heritage which is interspersed with Asian influences and bright and breezy décor. Large cosy sofas and cushions provide a homely environment, and all mod-cons ensure that your every need is met.

Activities

If you ever want to leave your villa, an 18-hole golf course is nearby, and kite surfing, deep-sea fishing, safari game drives in the Shimba hills, picnic lunches, boat trips and snorkelling on the reef can be arranged
