Bird Island Lodge

This tropical island paradise is situated in the most northerly archipelago of the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, a 30-minute flight from Mahé. Set on a 170-acre private island with over five kilometres of white sand beaches and an abundance of wildlife, Bird Island Lodge offers a true castaway experience.

Twenty four simple but comfortable chalets are nestled amidst an old coconut plantation, a short stroll from the beach. Each room offers views of the Indian Ocean and includes a king-size bed, a large shower room, a ceiling fan and a spacious veranda.

Food is served buffet style with a superb menu of fresh fish and organic homegrown produce, and eaten in the communal lodge house restaurant.

A nature-lovers paradise, it’s home to over 20 species of exotic birds, giant tortoises and other wildlife. Guests can enjoy guided nature walks around the island, which takes just over an hour to walk round, or get a rare glimpse of endangered sea turtles.
