Onduli Ridge

Onduli Ridge is a luxurious retreat surrounded by a spectacular Mars-like landscape in the heart of Namibia's rugged Damaraland. This unique location provides dramatic views all around, including Namibia's highest mountain, the Brandberg to the south and the scattered, cathedral-like granite inselbergs to the north.

With just six en-suite rooms, this romantic, eco-conscious camp is designed to immerse guests in the extraordinary landscape, while offering a range of activites including searching for endangered rhinos and elephants, solar e-biking, taking nature drives and walks with an experienced guide or admiring ancient rock art. The camp also has plenty of areas to relax, from the infinity pool and outdoor deck to the cosy library, perfect for unwinding after an action packed day, exploring all that Onduli Ridge has to offer.

Accommodation


The camp’s six spacious suites are tucked among giant granite boulders, offering privacy and panoramic views. Each room is situated high up on a deck and the temperate climate of central Damaraland allows for naturally ventilated, open-air suites with partial open-air bathrooms. Every detail is designed to maximize the connection with nature, from louvered shutters that open completely and king-sized beds. For a truly magical experience, guests can roll their beds out onto private decks for a night beneath Namibia’s starlit sky.

Food & Drink


Onduli Ridge is renowned for upskilling local workers and the chefs, from the local community, provide a variety of inventive and fresh food with locally inspired ingredients. All the meals can be enjoyed on either the deck by the pool or in a private setting, with stunning views all around.

Children


Children of all ages are welcome at Onduli Ridge. Families with children aged 13 or younger must use a private vehicle for activities.

Sustainability


The camp actively supports initiatives such as Save The Rhino, the Giraffe Conservation Foundation and the Conservation Travel Foundation. Onduli Ridge is powered by its own solar farm, has self-sustaining boreholes for water, and uses locally made Mbiri Natural Skincare products, ensuring that both its operations and guest experiences align with their sustainable principles.

How to Get There


Onduli Ridge has it’s own airstrip located 20 minutes from the camp. Alternatively, guests can opt for a scenic 7 hour drive through Namibia’s dramatic desert landscapes, offering a thrilling introduction to the adventure that awaits at the camp.
